@LANTIS: A SCIENCE FICTION RADIO PLAY SERIES

Under the ocean, far beneath a future world of utopic super-cities and dwindling resources, is a domed mega-structure named @LANTIS. Built as a safe haven from the chaos of the world above, learned minds are housed together, advancing scientific knowledge and creating new ideas and contraptions to make the world a better place, whilst generating a decent profit margin.

This is @LANTIS!

As part of his PhD research examining Science Fiction in Live Performance, award-winning writer/director Stephen B. Platt staged a season of seven one-hour radio plays between August and September of 2018. In the tradition of "War of the Worlds", Douglas Adams, Doctor Who and Red Dwarf, @LANTIS is a science fiction comedy series that follows the exploits of a team of researchers who live in an underwater city populated by scientists.
